A man has been arrested after drugs were discovered when a car was stopped in Darwen.
At around 8:15pm on Tuesday, officers from the Roads Crime Team had reason to stop a silver Toyota Prius travelling through the Darwen area.
Officers searched the vehicle under section 23 of the misuse of drugs act, following which they found approximately £90,000 worth of cannabis in the boot.
The driver, a 35 year old man from Accrington was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
He is currently in custody.
