Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a collision in Grimsargh.
Police were called shortly after 6.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 30th April) after a Mazda 6 driving north on Preston Road at Grimsargh left the road and collided with a bus shelter and church wall.
Despite the efforts of emergency services the driver, a man in his 60s, died.
His family have been informed.
Sgt Michael Higginson, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “Very sadly a man has died, and I would appeal for anyone who saw what happened or who has any information to come forward and contact us.”
