Police are investigating after a pig's head and a brick were thrown through the front window of a house in Blackburn.
The incident is believed to have happened on Sunday night (February 18), at around 10:35pm, at an address on Shear Brow.
Two men were seen running away, and police are treating the incident as a hate crime.
A spokesperson said: "We do not tolerate hate of any form and we will do everything in our power to identify the offenders and take the appropriate action.
"While this is being treated as an isolated incident, reassurance patrols will be increased in the area as a precaution."
