The M55 will have overnight closures next week as part of the works to complete the Preston Western Distributor Road.
In order for work to progress on gantries, installation of cables under the motorway and work on lighting to be completed, the M55 will close overnight in both directions from Monday 27th February to Wednesday 1st March.
The closures will take place between junctions 1 - 3 from 8pm - 5am.
Drivers are advised to follow the diversion routes and plan your journey ahead.
Highways bosses said they apologised for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank motorists for their patience during the construction of the new road.
