Following anti-social behaviour, damage to the Mount shelters in Fleetwood has now been fixed.
The Mount Pavilion and Gardens have undergone extensive restoration over the past couple of years that has helped to secure a Green Flag award for 2022, a finalist in the North West Architecture awards 2022 and a finalist in the Lancashire Tourism Awards for Wedding Venue of the Year 2022.
A spokesperson for Wyre Council said: ‘’Wyre has many beautiful places of interest across the borough and it is disappointing to see evidence of dangerous and damaging anti-social behaviour around these sites or anywhere.
‘’We are constantly looking to deter this kind of behaviour, please be aware that CCTV is in place at The Mount and will be used to identify offenders.
‘’If your child hangs out on or near the Mount in Fleetwood, please have a conversation with them on protecting and respecting our borough and the beautiful features we are fortunate to have to enjoy.
‘’We want residents to enjoy our beautiful places safely, please be respectful.’’
