Detectives investigating the murder of Kevin Price in Blackpool have charged two people.
Police attended The Garfield Hotel on Springfield Road in the resort on Sunday (November 10th) following a concern for welfare call.
Kevin Price. 59, was found dead inside the address.
A Home Office postmortem examination showed Kevin, who lived alone at the property, died as a result of stab wounds.
Our Force Major Investigation Team has been carrying out an investigation and following enquiries earlier this week arrested two people on suspicion of Kevin’s murder.
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service yesterday evening (Thursday, November 14th) police charged two people with murder.
Adam Saunders, 50, of Regent Road Blackpool and Helen Kenyon, 38, of Cheltenham Road, Blackpool will appear before Lancaster Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, November 15th)
Kevin’s family continue to be supported by specially trained officers. They have been told of the latest developments.
